Greg Macpherson
Founder and CEO, SRW Laboratories
Location: Auckland, New Zealand
Mentoring: Yisehak Abraham, project leader for Hulu Medicine
Greg has worked at the intersection of health and technology for more than 30 years. After graduating as a pharmacist in 1992 he quickly established himself as an innovator, founding Pharmacy One which specialised in servicing rest homes, and later Pharmacy Direct— one of New Zealand’s first-ever online pharmacies. His entrepreneurial journey continued with the launch of New Zealand’s first government-licensed robotic dispensing facility, transforming medicine delivery across the country. More recently, Greg turned his attention to biotechnology and founded Science Research Wellness (SRW) Laboratories, a company dedicated to exploring cellular aging and developing solutions for living a long and healthy life. He is also the author of Harnessing the Nine Hallmarks of Aging. With his entrepreneurial spirit, pharmacy expertise and commercial nous, Greg is well positioned to help Yisehak grow Hulu Medicine in Ethiopia and explore strategic opportunities with pharmaceutical companies.

His next venture, 1-Day, launched in 2007, became one of the New Zealand’s most popular daily deal websites. Never one to slow down, Guy then founded Manta5, revolutionising water sports with the world’s first hydrofoil e-bike, the Hydrofoiler XE-1, now sold in 15 countries. As director of Focus 3, he continues to invest in innovative ventures. With his extensive experience in manufacturing and retail in particular, Guy is well-positioned to help Sungeni grow Village Solar in Malawi, especially as the enterprise seeks to develop its solar manufacturing and retail strategy.
